This Privacy Policy (Policy) discloses the practices of StandOut Resume, LLC concerning personal information we collect about you. By using the products and services of StandOut Resume, LLC in any way accessing online or in person, or using other products and services of ARG Group, LLC (collectively known as the Services), you agree to and accept the policies and practices described in this Policy.

This Policy notifies you of: (a) what personal information of yours is collected when you access StandOut Resume, LLC and/or use the Services; (b) in what manner the information is collected; (c) how the information is used and shared; (d) a description of the efforts and practices we use to maintain the security of Sensitive Information; and (e) other related information regarding your personal information and our in-house policies.

Please note that This Policy does not apply to the practices of companies and/or websites that ARG Group, LLC does not own or control, or to individuals that we do not manage, employ, or oversee.


StandOut Resume, LLC’s mission is to provide our clients with not only higher quality resumes and related personal documents, but also to provide products and services that will enable our clients to be not only more informed, but more marketable in the job market.  In the course of doing business, we will collect and use your personal information including but not limited to your name, your street address, your telephone number, your fax number, your email address, dates of employment, reason for leaving previous employers, job descriptions, and duties, job titles, performance on the job, awards, education dates, schools and colleges attended, degrees, certificates, licenses, and diplomas earned, and all other information supplied by you in part and whole as subject to the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy.  It is our strict policy that we have never and will never rent, lease, sell, or barter your personal information, to any unauthorized 3rd party under any circumstances. 

This is How We Compile Information From our Users
The manner in which we collect and store your information varies dependent upon on the particular page you are visiting, the activities in which you elect to participate and particulars of the services provided.  As an example, you may be requested to provide us some voluntary information upon registration for access to certain portions of the website or if you  request certain features or user interfaces, such as newsletters or when you make an online or telephone purchase. You may provide additional or similar information when you choose to participate in any future message boards and/or chat rooms that we implement in the future, and also in other interactive areas of our comprehensive website.  Most websites on the Internet, including ours, collects and stores user information automatically by utilizing “cookies” which are invisible electronic tools that store information on your computer and can be read by our servers and website.  This type of information is designed to make you experience more user friendly.  As an example, we may store the name of your Internet Service Provider (ISP) or use the same technology to automatically recognize you on future visits to store information regarding your visit to our website.  Some things that our “cookies” are capable of doing include but are not limited to storing your user name and password.  This is designed to make your return visit faster and more pleasant as you will not have to enter that information each time you visit our website.  “Cookies” may also help control how many times you see a particular banner advertisement or general advertisement on our website.  StandOut Resume, LLC is growing, and as technology expands, we may utilize new and additional technology to compile your information in other ways.  If you would like to not use “cookies” in conjunction with our website, you can always reset your Internet Browser to not accept any “cookies.”  Keep in mind, if you choose to do this, some portions of our website may me inoperable, you may have to enter your user name and password repeatedly, even on the same visit, and some of the customizations that you choose regarding your user preferences may be either lost or inoperable. 


What Do We Do With the Collected Information
StandOut Resume, LLC is similar to many websites in that we collect information to make your experience on our website more enjoyable and simple to use.  We also strive to offer you greater individualized content and advertising.  We do not share your information with any 3rd party UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES for their own solicitations, sales activities, or monetary gain.  This will ensure your ultimate privacy.  An exception to this rule would be if we would like to send you an advertising piece, newsletter, coupon, or other correspondence from us to you by US Mail.  We may hire an outside unrelated firm to design the marketing/mailing piece and supply your Name and Address to them for the sole purpose of addressing the envelopes for our own mailing campaign.  We will not provide your information to any other 3rd party for any other reason.   With the use of Aggregated Information (information that does not personally identify you), we may use that in many ways.   Here is an example.  We may combine your usage patterns with that from numerous other users with the ultimate goal of enhancing our site for all users.  We would use this information to determine which of our pages are visited most often, when, and for how long, and which services are utilized, and what features are the best in the eyes of our users.  The ultimate result will be website enhancement for all users based on the user data that the collected in aggregate form.  This information is occasionally shared with our advertisers and business partners as a means of adding value to them.   You will not be able to be identified individually with aggregate information.  Regarding (PII) Personally Identifiable Information that we collect on the website, we may use this information to communicate with you directly about your account, upgrades, registration, sales telephone calls,  sales emails, and USPS mail sales solicitations.  We may also wish to discuss topics such as Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, new and existing products and services that we may offer, new technology, site improvements, and other topics that we think you may find interesting or informative.  We may also conduct customer satisfaction surveys with the PII that you supply to us.  Other purposes to contact you include but are not limited to troubleshooting and site administration, processing of e-commerce transactions, account renewals, solicitations to purchase additional products and services, and other communications with you.  Various 3rd parties who provide technical support, site development, and/or website hosting for the operation of our website may access such information, but not for their company’s solicitations or financial gain.  We will use your information only as the law permits.  Please note that on occasion, as we continue to develop and grow our business model, we may buy, sell, merge with or partner with other companies, businesses, or websites.  In this case, your user information, aggregate and PII may be one of the transferred, merged, or combined assets.  Please keep in mind that if we are presented with a court order requesting your or any/all users PII or we feel that we are reasonably required to disclose this information to either law enforcement authorities or to collection agencies with regards to monies we believe you may owe to us, and when we deem it appropriate or necessary.  In such a rare case, we may or may not provide you with notice prior to our disclosure to the outside 3rd parties.  In addition, although we stand by our policy, much of the information that you provide to us is used in a public capacity and we are not liable for any third parties who use your public information for solicitation purposes. There is a difference between StandOut Resume, LLC renting, sharing or other wise selling your information to a third party and third parties obtaining your information via our website when it is available to the general public. Please take any and all complaints up with the third party in question. If you do not wish for your information to be shared on our site please do not provide it.

StandOut Resume, LLC expects that our sponsors, partners, affiliates, advertisers, buyers, and sellers to respect your privacy. Please be aware, however, that these other third parties will have their own completely different privacy policies, practices, and data collection techniques and practices from that of StandOut Resume, LLC.  As an example, while using our site, you may link to an advertiser’s or affiliate’s website that is completely separate from ours.  They will even have a different website host and URL name.  While visiting these 3rd party sites linked from our website, you may be introduced to or have the ability to access information, other websites, contests, sales campaigns, and marketing schemes hosted and created by 3rd parties.  We are not responsible for these 3rd parties’ actions, policies, sales techniques, products, services, quality, claims, or endorsements.  Always, when providing your Personally Identifiable Information or engaging in business, or ordering products or services from these 3rd parties, do your due diligence as well as read those companies and websites privacy policy and user agreements.  If you do not like their business practices, policies, or marketing campaigns, exercise your right to not visit their website and not do business with them.  Also, while you are on our website, some of our sponsors, advertisers, promotional partners and various 3rd parties may choose to use their own “cookies” as well as other technology to help them identify you or some of your preferences, including retrieving information about you.  As an example, some advertising is maintained by 3rd parties that may utilize their own “cookies which gives the 3rd party information regarding if you have seen or been presented a certain advertisement or advertisement campaign in the past. We are not responsible nor do we have any control over their use of “cookies” or the resulting information, and thus are not responsible for the policies or actions of these 3rd parties.  Finally, please note, that we never recommend giving out Personally Identifiable Information on 3rd party message boards, blogs, or chat rooms as you will never know who accesses that information and we and you have no control over the use, compilation, and storage of the at information.  The result may be an abundance of unsolicited messages “Spam,” unsolicited telephone calls, faxes, and mailers that is beyond our control.    


Children’s Online Protection Act (COPPA)
StandOut Resume, LLC does not knowingly collect or solicit Personally Identifiable Information from or about children under 18 except as permitted by law. We support and comply with the Children’s Online Protection Act (COPPA) and we do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13, nor do we share such information with third parties.  If we discover we have received any information from a child under 18 in violation of this policy, we will delete that information immediately.


Changes to this Policy
StandOut Resume, LLC reserves the right to change, amend or alter this policy at any time. Please check this page periodically for any changes that will be identified by the “Last Revision” date at the top of the page.  If you continue to use our website after the posting of changes to the terms, that is giving you acceptance of those changes in their entirety.  Any information that we collected prior to the time in which the change in terms was posted will be used according to the rule, regulations, and laws that applied at the time that the information was initially collected. 


Governing Law
This policy and the use of this Site are governed by Florida law. This Agreement to Arbitrate is made pursuant to a transaction involving interstate commerce and shall be governed by the Federal Arbitration Act, 9 U.S.C. §§ 1-16, as it may be amended.  If for any reason the Federal Arbitration Act does not apply, the substantive law of the State of Florida shall govern.  You will pay for all expenses of arbitration, including the filing, administrative, hearing and arbitrator’s fees (“Arbitration Fees”).  Throughout the arbitration, each party shall bear his or her own attorney fees and expenses, such as witness and expert witness fees.  If you prevail in the arbitration of any Claim against us, we will reimburse you for any fees you paid to the arbitration organization in connection with the arbitration. You and we agree that, except as specifically provided for above, the arbitrator’s decision will be final and binding on all parties subject to this Provision.  This Provision is binding upon you, and the heirs, successors, assigns, and related third parties of you.  This Provision shall survive termination of your account, whether it is through voluntary or involuntary termination by you or us.  Judgment upon the award rendered by the arbitration may be entered in any court with jurisdiction to do so.  StandOut Resume, LLC is controlled, managed, developed, operated, and administered entirely within the State of Florida. This statement and the policies outlined herein are not intended to and do not create any contractual or other legal rights in or on behalf of any party.
